Jan 23, 2013 - Star struck in Hollywood

Hollywood is home of the stars, and lots of charter bus visitors come to Los Angeles every year in the hope of catching a glimpse of their favorite celebrity. A good way of getting around in Los Angeles is with a charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus chartered from Bus Charters Los Angeles. Travel around L.A. in true movie star style in your coach bus, as your reliable and friendly coach bus driver take you and your group to where the stars and celebrities hang out.

Since opening in 1941, the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel has been a favorite of movie star and charter bus visitor alike. The Polo Lounge has long been a preferred celebrity dining destination, and is truly a legendary, elegant, classic and stylish place to dine, or simply to see, and be seen. The Pink Lady's restaurant has welcomed the very famous and powerful, the famous and less famous at the bar, in the gorgeous patio flowered in pink, or in the dining room, where Chef Alex Chen serves up specialties like Australian Wagyu beef with boulanger potatoes, truffled mushroom croquettes, ruby beets and Brussels sprout leaves, with red wine sauce around the plate. The wine list is very Californian, and definitely not for charter bus visitors on a budget.

Surrounded by its signature white picket fence, the Ivy is one of L.A.'s best dining places for the real power behind Hollywood. The charming patio allows those who want to be seen in the right company, eating the right meal, drinking the right wine, to be, well, seen. The menu here is solid California, with lots of healthy, organic choices. The kitchen does a good job of customizing meals to suit some celebrities peculiar dietary demands. Some of the menu choices include the popular chopped salad, justifiably famous crab cakes, savory meatloaf, southern-style fried chicken, Cajun prime rib, Louisiana soft-shell crab, and even a good burger. Despite the down home type menu, you won’t be getting a warm home style welcome here unless you’re on the A list.

As you get off your charter bus at the famous Beverly Wilshire hotel, head over for a meal at CUT. Within its walls you find a microcosm of the movers and shakers of Los Angeles, from financiers to producers to aspiring actors. The elegant and chic restaurant was designed by Richard Meier, and is sleekly spread out over 2 levels. As can be surmised from the name, CUT specializes in meat one the menu. Raw cuts are brought to your table for inspection, and serving staff will explain the choices you have in preparation of your selection, and the correct accompaniments. Prices here reflect the clientele, but CUT is a place where you will most likely spot your favorite celebrity.
